With various tools and brushes and mediums, I recreate scenes and imagery that I have experienced.

Layers of gesso are applied as my first step, mixing a variety of shades to create a unique backdrop. I let the gesso form peaks to provide texture to give my work life. I let my tools navigate me, steering me through the storyline. They create crevices, alleyways, earth, water, sky, figures. I do not pay much attention to detail; if I am successful, you as the viewer will understand my intent with what I have left out.
